October 21 – UEFA have fined Galatasaray €50,000 and ordered the Turkish club pay costs for the trouble caused by their fans in the Champions League clash at Arsenal on October 1.
Flares were exploded in the away end and damage caused to seating. UEFA had also opened a disciplinary case against Arsenal but decided to take no further action.
Wales have also been handed a €5000 fine after travelling supporters entered the field of play in last month’s Euro 2016 qualifier in Andorra.
Fans spilled on to the pitch at the Estadi Nacional after Gareth Bale scored a free-kick to put his side ahead in the final 10 minutes of the game. Under disciplinary guidelines, the punishment for such crowd problems range from a warning to a points deduction, but UEFA opted for a fine.
Andorra meanwhile were given a €10,000 fine for insufficient organisation.
