January 16 – Turkey’s Galatasaray have signed a one-year sponsorship with Turkish technology company NGN worth 15 million Turkish lira (€400,000). The company’s logo will be placed on the socks of Galatasaray’s first team kit.
“The NGN brand will be with us in the successes we will experience this season as the jersey and sock sponsor of our men’s football team. NGN Turkey is one of the leading technology and data center service providers. They successfully continue their activities with the power of domestic technology. I believe that their vision that makes a difference is exactly the same as the vision of the Galatasaray brand,” said Galatasaray Vice President Niyazi Yelkencioğlu.
“As we always say, as Galatasaray, we aim to represent Turkish sports in the best way possible in every branch we compete in. With this goal, our football team is pursuing great success both in Turkey and Europe this year. The contribution of our sponsors is very important for us to reach the goals we have set,” he continued.
“We exceeded $70 million in sponsorship. This is also a record in our history. We want to continue by constantly adding to it. We will receive approximately 15 million liras from this agreement. There is no space left on our jersey. We are also waiting for other sponsors,” he added.

NGN has invested more than 5 billion Turkish Lira ($140 million) in Turkey to date, focussed on a data center and cloud fields.
