TFF strikes TV deal with HT Spor for lower tier leagues until end of season

January 20 – The Turkish Football Federation (TFF)  has signed a TV rights agreement with broadcaster HT Spor for Nesine 2nd League and Nesine 3rd League matches. The agreement will run until the end of this season in June.

A total of six matches per week, twp from the Nesine 2nd League and four from the Nesine 3rd League, will be jointly selected by the TFF and HT Spor.

At least two of these matches will be broadcast on TV, while the other matches will be streamed live on the HT Spor YouTube channel. The TFF hopes the deal will increase the visibility and awareness of the leagues, and aims to ensure all teams are featured and create a model that will generate income next season.

“We continue our efforts for the development of every level of Turkish football and for it to reach a wider audience. For this purpose, we have signed an important cooperation for the live broadcast of Nesine 2nd League and Nesine 3rd League matches. The new address of Nesine 2nd League and Nesine 3rd League will now be HT Spor,” said Murat Şahin, TFF Board Member Responsible for TFF 2nd and 3rd League Clubs.

“The agreement will provide easier access for football fans to these leagues, which form the infrastructure of Turkish football. The teams and players competing in Nesine 2nd League and Nesine 3rd League will have the opportunity to show themselves to a wider audience. This agreement, which will make a significant contribution to the brand value and awareness of our leagues, will further increase the excitement in the leagues. I would like to thank all stakeholders and the broadcaster HT Spor, who made an effort for the implementation of the agreement. I hope this cooperation will be beneficial to Turkish football,” he continued.
