February 12 – Guatemala will host the inaugural Concacaf W Futsal Championship from April 29 to May 4 at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City. The tournament will serve as the qualifier for the Women’s Futsal World Cup in the Philippines later this year.
With two World Cup spots u for grabs, seven nations – Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and the United States – will compete for the regional title.
The format features a group stage from April 29 to May 1, with one group of four teams and another of three. The top two from each group will advance to the knockout rounds, where single-match semi-finals on May 3 will determine the finalists. Both finalists will book their place at the World Cup.
The official draw is set for February 19 and will be streamed live on Concacaf’s YouTube channel. The full match schedule will be released following the draw.
The first-ever Women’s Futsal World Cup kicks off in November and will feature 16 teams from six confederations marking a major step forward for the football discipline.
This is also Concacaf’s first regional women’s futsal championship.
