Venues unveiled for the Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026

February 27 – The match schedule for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026, to be played March 1 to 21, 2026, has been released.

The 12-team competition will be played across Sydney, Perth and the Gold Coast, using five venues, including those used to host matches at the Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.
The 79,500-capacity Stadium Australia in Sydney will host the final as well as Australia’s third and fourth group games, two Quarter-finals on March 14 and 15, a Semi-final on March 18.

Six group stage matches will be hosted at the Western Sydney Stadium, home of the Western Sydney Wanderers.

In Western Australia the 60,000 capacity Perth Stadium will host Australia’s opening game on March 1 and a semi-final on March 17.

Also in Perth, the Perth Rectangular Stadium, which hosted five matches during the FIFA Women’s World Cup, will feature six group stage clashes and two quarter-finals on March 13 and 14.
The Gold Coast Stadium will stage four group matches, including Australia’s second match on March 5.

The Gold Coast will also be the venue for the two play-matches for the four losing quarter-finalists on March 19. The two winners will qualify for the Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027.

Australia, China, Korea Republic and Japan have already qualified for the tournament. The final qualifiers will be played June 23 to July 5, with the draw for groups and match pairings taking soon after.
