March 18 – Concacaf has released details of seedings and pot allocation for the 2025 Gold Cup draw that will be held April 10, at 7pm (ET) as a live, made-for-tv event.
Mexico, as current champions, are pre-seeded into Pot A with the other three pot seeds being the next highest ranked Concacaf nations as of March 26 when the final preliminary qualifiers are completed.
Saudi Arabia, guesting at the Gold Cup for the first time, will be in Pot 4 with the three lowest-ranked Concacaf qualifying nations.
To date there are eight eight qualified Concacaf nations for the Group Stage: Canada, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, and the USA.
The final seven nations to qualify will be the winning teams from the home and away ties being played Friday, March 21 and Tuesday March 25.

Belize vs Costa Rica
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines vs Jamaica
Bermuda vs Honduras
Guyana vs Guatemala
Cuba vs Trinidad and Tobago
Suriname vs Martinique
Guadeloupe vs Nicaragua
The 18th edition of the Gold Cup will be played June 14 to July 6, in 14 stadiums across the US and Canada.. The final will be played at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on July 6.
2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Draw Pots and Pre-Seeded National Teams
The 2025 Gold Cup Draw will use a double-blind system involving eight pots. Pots 1-4 will contain the spheres with the names of the participating national teams, and Pots 5-8 will contain Group A, B, C, and D spheres.
Pot 1: Current Champions and the three highest-ranked national teams
Pot 2: Four next highest-ranked national teams
Pot 3: Four next highest-ranked national teams
Pot 4: Three lowest-ranked national teams and Saudi Arabia
Pot 5: Group A, B, C, and D positions
Pot 6: Group A, B, C, and D positions
Pot 7: Group A, B, C, and D positions
Pot 8: Group A, B, C, and D positions
The national teams in Pot 1 will be pre-seeded into a group as follows:

Group B: Highest-ranked team
Group C: Second highest-ranked team
Group D: Third highest-ranked team
