March 18 – With the Concacaf Nations League OneSoccer just a day away from kick-off and Canada lined up for a blockbuster semi-final against Mexico, Canada’s football streaming channel OneSoccer has closed a deal to broadcast all of the federation’s leading international and club competitions.
Starting this week with the Nations League Finals, the agreement also covers the Gold Cup, Concacaf W Qualifiers, W Champions Cup Finals and Champions Cup.
For the Nations League Finals OneSoccer, alongside TSN and RDS, will co-produce coverage of the broadcasts, which will be presented by the Canadian Premier League.
OneSoccer has also licensed the rights to the Concacaf Nations League to TLN Media Group, who will deliver exclusive Spanish-language coverage on TLN and Univision.
OneSoccer broadcasts a slate of Canadian soccer content including the Canadian Premier League, the TELUS Canadian Championship, Canada Soccer’s domestic soccer cup competition, and the home friendly matches of Canada Soccer’s Women’s and Men’s National Teams.
It is available in 35 countries as a streaming service through the OneSoccer.ca website, via Roku, Chromecast and Apple TV devices and with the OneSoccer app.
The first content from the new deal will be the Nations League semi-finals on Thursday, and the third place payoff and final on Sunday March 23.
That will be swiftly followed by quarter finals of the Champions Cup on Tuesday, April 1 with the Vancouver Whitecaps facing Pumas UNAM. In May, the inaugural four-match Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals will take place at the Estadio Universitario in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
This rolls into the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup in June, and later in Autumn, the Concacaf W Qualifiers for the 2026 Concacaf W Championship, which serves as the qualifying event for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2028 LA Summer Olympics.
No value was given for the deal.
