Palermo ad Instarforex

November 1 – US Città di Palermo, the Sicily-based Serie A club, has acquired an official ‘Global Forex and Binary Options’ partner. The club – known for its pink and black, ‘the sad and the sweet’, colours, adopted in 1905 – has paired up with InstaForex, an online currency, metals and index-trading specialist headquartered in one of the planned 2018 FIFA World Cup host-cities, Kaliningrad.

InstaForex sponsors other teams and athletes, including Liverpool, with whom it has a two-year deal, running until the end of this season, as the club’s official online forex and binary options trading partner in Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Angelo Baiguer, Palermo’s executive manager, said that attracting the interest of companies operating “internationally and in sectors not traditionally linked with football” was a clear indication that the club was “gaining stronger visibility and interest abroad”. Pavel Shkapenko, InstaForex’s business development director, sought to underline similarities in the two organisations’ respective aspirations, saying: “We strive to be the best in the forex industry, as does the club in one of the most challenging leagues in the world”.

Under the terms of the two-year partnership, finalised by Infront Sports & Media, Palermo’s marketing partner, InstaForex will enjoy benefits that include tickets and hospitality at the Stadio Renzo Barbera where the club, currently lying 14th in the Italian top tier, is based.

“It is very important to count on international brands willing to share Serie A clubs’ values and objectives,” said Marco Bogarelli, president of Infront Italy. “We are sure this partnership will help both InstaForex and US Città di Palermo to reach visibility in the respective markets and create global and regional brand awareness.”
