PSG lands 13 million Youtube views with Ooredoo campaign

Fans do wonders

January 4 – Paris St-Germain partner Ooredoo has announced a recent digital promotion generated more than 13 million Youtube views. The promotion, a fan competition, culminated with the sending of 15 winners to Qatar to meet the players and watch a friendly match between Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain on December 30 at Qatar’s Al Sadd Stadium.

The campaign, titled ‘Fans Do Wonders’, asked fans to send messages directly to the players via a dedicated site www.fansdowonders.com, or via Twitter, with the hashtag #fansdowonders from April to June.

The video featured PSG’s most recognizable players – forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, defenders Thiago Silva and David Luiz, and midfielders Blaise Matuidi and Lucas Moura.

More than 8,000 messages were sent during the campaign with the best messages being displayed on LED boards at PSG’s Parc des Prince stadium during matches.

The campaign also generated more than a million visits to the dedicated website, 126,000 new fans on the group Facebook page and 24,000 mentions on Twitter.
