January 13 – Supporting Liverpool is clearly an emotional experience as the club agonisingly battles to return to former domestic glories and trophies. In a city that wears its emotions very high on its sleeve, Kopites now can add a LFC emoticon to their Skype communications following a new partnership.
The new global partnership has been activated with an LFCofficial Skype ID via which fans can share their passion for the club, win signed merchandise and match day tickets, and get the chance to chat with LFC players past and present, live over Skype.
The LFCofficial Skype ID will carry exclusive club content. To launch the partnership, Skype is giving away a pair of tickets to the club’s Premier League match at Anfield against Manchester United. To enter fans just have to add LFCofficial as a contact and send your match day ritual to LFCofficial on Skype.

Through Skype chats and custom content, we look forward to bringing these fans even closer to the action.”
Skype has released a range of LFC emoticons with the first set including mini versions of manager, Jürgen Klopp, club captain Jordan Henderson and team mates Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge. The new emoticons give fans a way to show their support, including wearing an LFC scarf with their fingers crossed, thumbs up and covering eyes.
