October 4 – A very special star will be making an appearance at Leaders in Football this week – the FIFA World Cup.
The iconic trophy – lifted by Spain after a bad-tempered final in South Africa last summer – will be on display at the world’s most exclusive football business event at Chelsea FC on Wednesday an Thursday (October 6 and 7).
A symbol of sporting success and national pride, the trophy will be a fitting reminder to all eight World Cup bidders attending Leaders who are hoping to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018 or 2022.
A number of sporting icons will also be there including FIFA World Cup winners Marcel Desailly and Patrick Vieira, Champions League winners Ronald de Boer, Pep Guardiola and Gianluca Vialli, former France manager Raymond Domenech and current Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger.
This star-studded event will be broadcast all over the world with 10 international TV crews as well as 100 media organisations in attendance.
To mark the unique event, Leaders in Football is giving every attendee a complimentary and exclusive opportunity to have their photograph taken with the famous trophy when it is on display in the exhibition hall.
For many it will serve as a treasured reminder for many years to come.
The event has been sold out for several weeks with 1,000 director-level attendees from more than 40 countries confirmed.
