June 15 – While the Euro 16 Championship in France go into their second round of group matches tonight, the Copa America Centenario in the US closed out group play with an emphatic 3-0 win for Argentina over Boliva.
Argentina are the only team in the 16-nation tournament to have won all their matches, and have done so in imperious fashion.
Second place in the group went to Chile who overcame a fast improving Panama 4-2 to qualify for the quarter finals. Panama scored first in this winner takes all fixture, but could not hold off a more experienced Chile.

The quarter final knockout stages will see six teams from CONMEBOL face two teams from CONCACAF (the US and Mexico). This stage begins tomorrow with the USA taking on Ecuador in Seattle.
This is followed June 17 with Peru vs Colombia in East Rutherford.
Two matches on June 18 will see Argentina play Venezuela in Foxborough and the well supported Mexicans face Chile in Santa Clara.
