June 3 – Fox Soccer has agreed a deal with Endemol to show the Dublin Super Cup exclusively in the United States and Canada in the next three years.
Fox Soccer will also air the tournament throughout the Caribbean.
The inaugural tournament this summer will see Manchester City, Inter Milan, Celtic and a League of Ireland XI compete at the Aviva Stadium on July 30-31.
The tournament will feature at least one major team from the Premier League and another top side from either La Liga or Serie A, in addition to another prominent European club and an Irish XI.
Fox have acquired a number of Endemol shows in the past, including Football’s Next Star and Blue Moon Rising.
The deal with follows the recent announcement that Endemol Sport and Sky Sports have entered a three year partnership for The Dublin Super Cup covering the UK and Ireland.
A number of similar deals across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas are set to be announced in the coming months.
