July 4 – BetVictor have signed a new three-year deal to become a principal partner of Premier League club Liverpool. No figure was announced for the sponsorship.
The agreement will see BetVictor become the Global Online Betting Partner and Training Kit Partner with the BetVictor’s branding featuring on the kit.
It is a peculiarity of football betting sponsorships that the betting company offers attractive special offers in terms of bets to new sign-ups via the club, offers that hurt the bookmaker more than the punter if the bet is won by the punter. BetVictor is offering a very attractive 50/1 that the club wins the Premier League in the forthcoming 2016/17 season to new customers (not quite the odds you could have got on Leicester at the start of last season but still a teasing offer).
BetVictor is offering a more modest 4/1 to existing customers that the club win any major trophy in the upcoming season.

As well as featuring on the Liverpool training kit, the bookmaker will have exposure on pitchside LEDs and digital advertising as well as on the club’s press conference backdrop.
BetVictor has been pursuing an international expansion online and now operates in more than 160 countries.
