August 15 – Premier League Stoke City has stepped up its push into Arabic markets with the appointment of KingFut as the club’s official digital media partner.
KingFut is a leading a leading football focused agency in the Middle East and African region providing Arabic language social media management and digital solutions to clubs and leagues.
KingFut in May concluded a similar deal with Italy’s Serie A champions Juventus to add an Arabic language service to Juventus’ web and social media platforms. The new digital service, which also includes Facebook and Twitter accounts, gives Arabic-speaking supporters the opportunity to follow breaking news at the club, as well providing access to key features and exclusive content.
The Stoke deal is timed with the addition of Egypt and African prodigy Ramadan Sobhi to the Stoke squad.
Stoke has more than one million fans on Facebook and over half a million fans on Twitter. Sobhi will act as a spur to build the Arabic language communities across all Stoke’s digital media platforms.
Arabic becomes the second language that the club use to connect with Stoke City supporters worldwide on a daily basis.
