December 8 – Hannover 96, battling to return to former glory and the Bundesliga’s top tier, has renewed its main sponsorship with house builder Heinz von Heiden Massivhäuser.
Currently third place in Bundesliga2, the club brought on Heinz von Heiden in the 2014/15 season. The new deal, which includes the house builder’s logo on the clubs’s shirt. will take them beyond the end of this season though no time period or value has been announced for the deal.
However, the deal is not contingent on Hannover 96 winning promotion. The extension was negotiated by Hannover 96’s exclusive marketing partner Lagardère Sports.
“It is very important for us to state that we stand fully behind Hannover 96 and actively want to shape the partnership in the future,” says Heinz von Heiden CEO Andreas Klaß.
Dr. Helge Mensching, a Heinz von Heiden board member, said: “For us, the partnership with Hannover 96 is not only a classic form of branding, but the partnership with Hannover 96 is much more than that, it is a clear commitment to our home region and to our club. ”
