Catch highlights from AFC Champions League on new YouTube channel

October 19 – Highlights from this week’s Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League semi-finals will be available to watch on a new YouTube channel, it has been announced.

Suwon Samsung of South Korea are taking on Qatari outfit Al Sadd tonight, and Saudi side Al Ittihad will be facing another Korean team, Jeonbuk Motors, the same evening.

The new YouTube channel can be found at http://www.youtube.com/AFCCHAMPIONSLEAGUE, and viewers can use the link to find footage from previous AFC Champions League finals.

In 2012-13, every match will have highlights featuring on the platform, as well as interviews, press conferences and a “top 10” feature.

“We are glad to have World Sport Group as a launching partner of YouTube in Singapore and excited that this partnership will allow sport fans around the world to enjoy videos from the AFC Champions League and more sports events in the near future,” said Anthony Zameczkowski, head of partnerships at YouTube.

“The competition enjoys a wide television audience across Asia, and with the addition of a YouTube channel, we look forward to growing a global online community for the league.

“Everyone with internet access can now follow all the exciting action from the AFC Champions League.”
