September 24 – FIFA’s patience with the former leadership of the Trinidad and Tobago FA (TTFA) has inevitably run out. The world governing body tonight suspended the TTFA “with immediate effect and until further notice”.
September 25 – English football’s National League, just below the fourth division in the professional pyramid, are in talks with the government and Football Association over a “critical financial support package” as clubs risk even more losses because of Covid-19.

September 24 – The pressure on FIFA president Gianni Infantino was ratcheted up a level this week as accusations were made in the Swiss parliament that FIFA was unduly attempting to influence the process.

September 24 – With just hours to go before kick-off at tonight’s showpiece Super Cup fixture between Bayern Munich and Sevilla in Budapest, UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin launched a strong defence of the decision to allow fans into the game despite the worry of Covid-19, saying his organisation wasn’t doing it for political reasons or badly needed revenues, only for the good of football.

September 24 – The ‘United TTFA’ missed the FIFA deadline by minutes to apply to withdraw their case against the world governing, but the rogue former TTFA officials look to have deliberately sabotaged the chances of getting a withdrawal by submitting within the affidavit by William Wallace statements that they have been “pressured” and “coerced” to withdraw.
