December 4 – Inter Miami and Lionel Messi’s end of MLS season trip to China may have been cancelled last month, but their globe trotting ambition hasn’t been. The club has announced they will play the El Salvador national team in January.

At the Azteca it took a late goal and penalties for Mexico to overcome Honduras to secure their place.

The US going through despite a 2-1 defeat to Trinidad and Tobago in the second leg of their League A quarterfinal at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
November 20 – Copa America 2024, to be played in the US next summer, will open in the 71,000-capacity Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and close in 65,300-capacity Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

November 16 – The US is perhaps the hottest place in world football right now in terms of the growth of the game, with major teams and leagues wanting to play there, new teams being announced seemingly every month and a Club World Cup and men’s World Cup on a rapidly nearing horizon.
