December 14 – FIFA has appointed a normalisation committee for the Haitian Football Association after it found “strong indications” that the federation’s disgraced former president Yves Jean-Bart is still exerting his influence despite being banned for life last month following multiple accusations of systematic sexual abuse of female players.

December 11 – Concacaf, whose member associations have so often trailblazed in the women’s game, has restructured its senior women’s national teams calendar “with the aim of transforming women’s national team football across the entire confederation”.
December 10 – The Cayman Islands Government has restored its financial support of the Cayman Islands FA for the first time since the arrest of former Concacaf and CIFA president Jeff Webb in the FIFAgate raids of 2015 in Zurich.
December 9 – Major League Soccer’s 25th season has not turned into the celebration initially hoped for, with commissioner Don Garber in his State of the League address revealing that the MLS is expecting a $1 billion drop in revenue because of the coronavirus pandemic.
December 7 – The National Women’s Soccer League’s (NWSL) Utah Royals FC franchise will relocate to Kansas City, once the sale of the team is finalised, according to US media reports.
December 7 – Concacaf has been given the go-ahead by FIFA to have triple match international windows for its final group of World Cup qualifiers that need 14 match days to complete.

November 20 – FIFA has lifted the suspension of the Trinidad and Tobago FA (TTFA) and re-instated its three-person Normalisation Committee to run the local association.
November 19 – The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the US is to continue with its Challenge Cup format introduced for the first time as a back-to-play tournament in 2020, the first of the US leagues to return to competition during the pandemic. The full season schedule will be begin a month later.
November 18 – Concacaf has cancelled its U17 Women’s championship and welcomed FIFA’s decision to keep the next edition of the U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
November 11 – Orlando’s Exploria Stadium will host the final stages of the Concacaf Champions League in December, with the final to be played December 22.
November 6 – The third tier National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) in the US has announced the owners and management team behind their 11th franchise team which will be based in Chicago.
November 3 – Concacaf is to centralise the final rounds of its Champions League with a final now schedule for December 22. The venue for the matches, which will be in the US, will be announced in the coming weeks.
November 2 – The second tier United Soccer League was forced to call off its 2020 Championship Final at the weekend following multiple positive covid tests amongst Tampa Bay Rowdies players and staff.
October 30 – Concacaf has formatted the final rounds of its second club competition, the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf League (SCL), to ensure there is enough calendar space to complete the competition.
