April 30 – Government bigwigs and sports administration supremos from the Caribbean will be at the heart of the Concacaf Working Group that has been charged with coming up with a format and structure for a Caribbean Pro League.

April 17 – Controversially not considered of high enough standard to house Trinidad’s footballers, the recently opened and rapidly closed Trinidad and Tobago FA’s Home of Football is now to be used as a facility in the islands’ battle against the coronavirus.
April 16 – Concacaf have taken steps to explore the potential for a Caribbean professional league with the setting up of pro-league working group. It will begin its work in earnest once the coronavirus crisis eases.

April 9 – The former president and board of the Trinidad and Tobago FA (TTFA) have followed through on their promise and yesterday filed an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against their removal and replacement by a FIFA Normalisation Committee.

March 26 – With the discredited former Trinidad and Tobago FA board removed and the initial appointments of the FIFA Normalisation Committee having being made, more information is becoming available over the role the TTFA’s unelected staff played in bringing down the board.
March 25 – The US Soccer Federation (USSF) has appointed long time sports executive Will Wilson (pictured) as the organisation’s next CEO and secretary general. His immediate task will be to navigate US Soccer through its legal stand-off with the American women’s national team.

March 24 – The board and executive of the disbanded Trinidad and Tobago FA (TTFA) have reacted furiously to their removal saying that the plan they had in place for the development of a velodrome would have netted them the TT$50 million that would have cleared their debt.
