Barcelona insist ref at fault for Champions League defeat to Inter

May 8 – Following an epic UEFA Champions League semi-final which saw Inter Milan defeat Barcelona 4-3 after extra time (7-6 on aggregate), Barcelona midfielder Pedri has voiced strong criticism of the match officiating at the San Siro.

May 1 – As Nottingham Forest edge closer to a remarkable return to European competition, owner Evangelos Marinakis is relinquishing day-to-day control of the club due to UEFA regulations prohibiting the same ownership group from controlling multiple clubs in the same European tournament.

April 17 – With an outstanding away performance and a late Gabriel Martinelli strike, Arsenal defeated Real Madrid 2-1 to eliminate the European champions 5-1 on aggregate from the Champions League.

French authorities ban Feyenoord fans from Champions League trip to Lille

January 23 – Feyenoord fans have been banned by French authorities from travelling to Lille for next week’s final Champions League group game between the two sides. France’s interior ministry expressed concerns about a “real and serious risk of confrontation” between the respective sets of supporters.
