December 14 – The Premier League’s mid-week fixtures showed a small dip in attendances across the league from the weekend, and a big drop for Spurs who filled only 51.6% of Wembley’s capacity.
December 12 – The English Football Association have launched an investigation into the post-match incidents that marred last Sunday’s hotly anticipated Manchester derby when City ended United’s unbeaten 40-game home run and in the process set a Premier League record of 14 straight wins.
December 12 – Premier League fixtures are coming thick and fast in the run-up to and through Christmas. Last week’s round 16 fixtures are followed by another round of mid-week fixtures starting tonight. December will see seven rounds of Premier League fixtures completed.
December 5 – Mid-week evening fixtures are more popular – just – than weekend fixtures, if rounds 14 and 15 of the Premier League schedule are an indicator.
November 28 – West Ham, Newcastle United and Manchester United all reported attendances at more than 99% of the capacity of their stadia. Only Spurs reported a figure below 93% for round 13 of Premier League fixtures.
November 27 – Everton may not be able to lock-in a new manager but they have secured a lease for the dockside land where they will build their new stadium.
November 22 – They may have had a record poor start to the season but Crystal Palace fans aren’t giving up – if anything they are showing an even greater commitment. For the second time this season they have topped the attendance capacity table with a reported attendance of more than their official ground capacity.
November 16 – Although the majority of ticket prices to watch top-flight football in England have been frozen or have fallen for a third year in succession, young fans say they are still being priced out of the market.
November 15 – The Thai owners of surprise 2016 English Premier League champions Leicester City have categorically denied allegations they owe over £300million to their government.
November 14 – The English Premier League and Football League have agreed a three-year collaboration with Stonewall, the UK’s leading charity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues, to promote equality in football.
November 6 – Tottenham Hotspur had their second win in a week at their temporary Wembley home, but in contrast to the mid-week Champions League victory which saw 86,000 fans pack the national stadium, 65, 270 turned up to watch the London rivals Crystal Palace.
October 31 – Round 10 of Premier League fixtures saw just 9,766 seats unfilled out of 361,131 tickets available. Crystal Palace topped the capacity chart for the third time this season, just beating Manchester United for the top slot.

October 27 – Arsenal’s annual general meeting – an almost pointless gathering of shareholders as the two largest (Stan Kroenke and Alisher Usmanov) control 97% of the shares – was a stormy reflection of the relationship between the club and its London-based support.
October 26 – Spurs broke the 10-year-old Premier League attendance record in Round 9 of fixtures last week with 80,827 fans at Wembley for their 4-1 win over Liverpool.
October 17 – Predictions that Tottenham Hotspur would break the Premier League’s 10-year attendance record in their clash against Bournemouth fell 2,600 fans short with Spurs only filling 81.67% of Wembley Stadium (73,502 was the official attendance figure) for their clash with Burnley.
