April 27 – English top-flight club Everton say they are “appalled” after images were released of their Italian striker Moise Kean holding a house party in direct defiance of the UK’s Covid-19 lockdown restrictions – the latest flaunting of the rules by a Premier League player.
April 23 – The English Premier League is reported to considering screening games on free-to-air channels if and when the season returns amid concerns fans will visit friends who have Sky Sports or BT Sport and risk contracting Covid-19.

April 22 – In a highly unusual move, the English Premier League has been urged by one of its major broadcast partners as well as one of the world’s leading human rights organisations to consider blocking a Saudi-backed consortium’s bid to buy Newcastle United.

April 7 – Under pressure from supporters and the public at large, European champions and runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool have reversed their decision to furlough around 200 of their non-playing staff amid the spread of Covid-19 with CEO Peter Moore apologising to fans.

March 26 – Premier League rivals of Manchester city have reportedly ganged up to try and stop the club getting their European ban put on ice in order to be allowed to play in next season’s Champions League.
March 9 – Everton have restructured their women’s team operations under their ‘One Club’ vision that will see CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale chair a new Senior Leadership Team for Everton Women, and increased finding for the team.
February 20 – Everton have appointed construction firm Laing O’Rourke to build the club’s new £500 million, 52,000-seat stadium under a pre-construction services agreement.
