June 21 – St Kitts and Nevis caused the upset of the Gold Cup preliminary round to qualify for the group stages and place on the big stage with matches against USA Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago in Group A of Concacaf’s.
June 21 – Martinique muscled their way through to the group stages of the Gold Cup with a 2-0 win over Puerto Rico the surprise team of the knock-out rounds.
June 20 – It was a stop-start evening at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for the second and final round of Gold Cup qualifying.
April 19 – The USA kick off the group stages of the 2023 Gold Cup at the 63,000-capacity Solder Field in Chicago on June 24 against Jamaica. The US are looking to defend the title won in 2021 against Mexico. In 2019 the US lost at Soldier Field in the final to Mexico.
