April 26 – While Jack Warner tops the list of Trinidad and Tobago FA’s list of creditors filed at a local court as part of the TTFA’s insolvency proceedings – he is claiming $3 million – two other English names high up the list will raise eyebrows and interest in Europe.
April 26 – Manchester City have announced they will play two pre-season friendlies in the US in July, prior to the start of their 2022/23 campaign.

April 25 – The world’s most wanted football criminal, Jack Warner, has emerged at the top of a list of unsecured creditors compiled by the Trinidad and Tobago FA’s (TTFA) trustee Maria Daniel. The document, filed with the Trinidad and Tobago court, lists Warner’s claim at TT$22.6 million ($3.38 million).
April 20 – Women’s World Champions USA have been drawn with 2019 World Cup qualifiers Jamaica and Concacaf’s third-highest ranked nation Mexico in the Concacaf W Championship that kicks off in Monterrey, Mexico, July 4-18.
April 19 – The SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, one of the candidate venues for hosting matches at the 2026 World Cup, has scheduled its first-ever football (soccer) event for this August.
April 14 – Mexico secured qualification to the eight-team 2022 Concacaf W Championship they are hosting in Monterey, Mexico, with a convincing 6-0 win over Puerto Rico in their final game of group qualifying.

April 12 – Another hard-to-celebrate milestone for the beleaguered Trinidad and Tobago FA is expected in the next 10 days with the Trustee of the TTFA, charged with resolving the TTFA’s debt problems, expected to make a formal offer to the association’s long suffering creditors.
April 6 – Concacaf completed the draw for the second edition of the Concacaf Nations League (CNL) which will serve as a qualifier for the 2023 Gold Cup.
April 5 – US national team and Portland Thorns star Crystal Dunn has been named 2021 Concacaf Women’s player of the year, while Canada and Bayern Munich standout Alphonso Davies has taken the men’s award.
April 4 – Concacaf is sticking with the 12-team Gold Cup Prelims as the route to deciding the final places at the 16-team 2023 Gold Cup, with its Nations League.
March 31 – Lightening almost struck twice. The US were knocked out of World Cup qualifying for Russia 2018 after losing to a better organised and prepared Trinidad and Tobago. Last night they hung on to their automatic 2022 qualification place on goal difference.
March 28 – Canada stormed past Jamaica at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario, to qualify for their first World Cup finals since 1986.
March 25 – Costa Rica catapulted themselves back into contention for a place at the Qatar 2022 World Cup with a 1-0 win over group leaders Canada, the first time the Canadians have been beaten in the final round of qualifying.
March 24 – The United Soccer League is beefing up its broadcast and media presence with the launch of a new media group under industry veteran Michael Cohen, and a commitment to open a business presence in New York to expand its partnerships.
March 21 – The vice-like grip Mexico’s clubs have held on the Concacaf Champions League is being challenged with this year’s final guaranteed to have a challenger from the MLS.
