September 24 – FIFA’s patience with the former leadership of the Trinidad and Tobago FA (TTFA) has inevitably run out. The world governing body tonight suspended the TTFA “with immediate effect and until further notice”.

September 24 – The ‘United TTFA’ missed the FIFA deadline by minutes to apply to withdraw their case against the world governing, but the rogue former TTFA officials look to have deliberately sabotaged the chances of getting a withdrawal by submitting within the affidavit by William Wallace statements that they have been “pressured” and “coerced” to withdraw.
September 23 – The ousted Trinidad and Tobago Football Association former board members who looked set to land the nation’s football community with a FIFA suspension, have backed down in the face of pressure from the wider football community and agreed to withdraw their High Court proceedings against FIFA.
September 23 – The American men’s national team won’t play or train during October’s international window because of the coronavirus pandemic.
September 21 – Concacaf has scheduled its first ever Gold Cup draw for Monday 28 September. AFC Champions Qatar, who will guest in the competition, will be in the fourth pot with the winning three teams from the preliminary qualifiers which will be played the week before the finals start in July 2021.

September 18 – FIFA have given the dissident former Trinidad and Tobago FA board until 3pm (AST) on September 23 to withdraw all court claims against the world governing body or face suspension.

September 18 – With the Trinidad and Tobago FA teetering on the brink of suspension by FIFA, the country’s displaced former ‘United TTFA’ board, their supporters and supporting media have continued their obsession with former president David John-Williams (pictured left).
September 18 – St Louis City, who debut in the MLS in 2023, have broken records for season ticket deposits with 50,000 registered in the first 24 hours of the offer going online.
September 9 – Concacaf have shifted their World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers back from the October and November international match windows into 2021, following regional uncertainty around whether the spread of the coronavirus will make it possible to get games played.

September 3 – Qatar will play as a guest nation in the next two editions of the Gold Cup in the US , the blue riband national team event for Concacaf’s member countries, in 2021 and 2023. The Asian Cup Champions are also scheduled to guest at Conmebol’s Copa America in 2021 as they prepare for their own hosting of the 2022 World Cup.

September 3 – Concacaf has further expanded its bi-annual Gold Cup with a series of changes that increase member nation participation and the integrity of the competition structure.
September 3 – Venezuela is the latest country to have its affairs run by FIFA after being plunged into yet more turmoil.
September 3 – The coronavirus has reached parts that not even the US Justice Department could reach. Trinidad press is reporting that world football’s most wanted, Jack Warner (not Lionel Messi), has tested positive for Covid-19.
September 2 – The chair of the Trinidad and Tobago Normalisation Committee Robert Hadad has written to the former president of the TTFA William Wallace telling him he has “completely ignored the truth”, has conducted a campaign of “misinformation and disinformation”, and in his tone is “offensive” to the people of Trinidad.

September 1 – Despite calls from clubs, players and government to the ousted TTFA president William Wallace and his board to drop the legal complaint against FIFA in the Trinidad and Tobago courts, Wallace is refusing to back down and has written to confederation presidents and member associations with a plea for support.
