June 28 – Georgia’s Euro 2024 heroes are set to receive a $10.75 million gift from the country’s billionaire ex-prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili after they stunned Portugal in the competition’s greatest ever upset to reach the knockout stage.
The recent display of Portugal’s stars versus Georgia was a dismal display of arrogance in football. For starters, there were no stars: they all sat on the bench, and only the living God that is Ronaldo stood around waiting to be served.

June 24 – Russia’s Rubin Kazan FC said that Albanian national Mirlind Daku will be punished when he returns to the club after the Euros. Daku face a “disciplinary and financial” sanction.
