Sexwale joins Securing Sport 2015 line-up in New York

November 2 – Delegates heading for the Securing Sport 2015 conference in New York that starts Tuesday will hear from one of the candidates for the FIFA presidency. Former South African government minister and anti-apartheid campaigner Tokyo Sexwale will give a keynote speech on the opening day, his first since declaring his candidacy.

Kenyan football falls into anarchy over KPL membership and FKF elections

October 28 – Ahead of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections, Kenyan football has descended further into chaos as FKF President Sam Nyamweya (pictured) and the current FKF leadership try to push through their plan to expand the Kenya Premier League (KPL), whilst the South Coast of the FKF has vowed to hold the elections on Thursday, saying the mandate of existing office-holders runs out on that day.

Ukrainians blame black fans for Kiev violence and even suggest segregation

October 27 – Whilst UEFA and FARE investigate the incident at the Champions League game between Dynamo Kiev and Chelsea on October 20 which saw some Kiev fans attack four black supporters in their own ranks, the head of Kiev’s Olimpiysky stadium has suggested those attacked brought the trouble upon themselves by sitting too close to members of an Ultra group and agreed with a 2+2 Ukrainian media suggestion that a “black section”
