November 19 – Hosts Ghana kicked off the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations with a 1-0 win against Algeria in Accra on Saturday. South Africa provided the first major upset of the finals defeating powerhouse Nigeria 1-0.

November 15 – FIFA is reported to be investigating five Premier League clubs over possible violations of rules covering the signing of foreign players under the age of 18.

November 15 – Belgian authorities, already investigating clubs and the league for match-fixing and money laundering crimes, have now raided the premises of top flight club Mouscron and arrested three people. The focus of the new police probe is Israeli super agent Pini Zahavi who is suspected of having had an illegal role and undue power at the club.
