May 27 – The pandemic has knocked €6.1 billion off the value of Europe’s leading 32 clubs, according to the latest annual football club valuation report from the KPMG Football Benchmark team.
May 13 – A re-evaluation of player market values (an indicator of potential transfer fees) by the KPMG Football Benchmark has found that “player values have been stagnant over the past six months, and most players have still not regained their ‘pre-pandemic’ market value.”
May 7 – Players’ union FIFPro as part of a three-year co-operation with the KPMG Football benchmark team, has launched a Player Workload Monitoring (PWM) platform.
