March 6 – With the Concacaf Nations League Finals (CNLF) two weeks away, the confederation has stepped up preparation for the final four event at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
February 14 – Latin American used car marketplace Kavak has become a sponsor of the Concacaf Champions Cup (CCC) for the three editions running 2024 through 2026.
June 23 – Concacaf have signed a multi-year collaboration agreement with music-based entertainment group Universal Music Latino (UML), a division of Universal Music Group (UMG).
June 7 – In a major rebranding move designed to embrace the confederation’s past and build identity around its new expanded club competitions, Concacaf has renamed its Champions League.
June 30 – Concacaf has begun the rollout of its newly launched Coaching Convention across its region with a number of ‘Coach Education exchanges’.
May 24 – Concacaf has agreed a major new three-year broadcast deal with TelevisaUnivision for Spanish-language media rights in the US.

February 15 – Concacaf is breaking the mould with its women’s competitions, not just in their structure and scale, but also in their venue. Monterrey, Mexico, will host the inaugural Concacaf W Championship that will be played July 4-18.
January 15 – Guadalajara in Mexico will host the Concacaf men’s qualifiers for the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games. The eight U-23 teams will play March 18-30 to qualify two teams for Japan.
May 7 – Concacaf has added car lubricants brand Valvoline as an official partner of the expanded 2019 Gold Cup.
February 12 – Concacaf is to expand the Concacaf League from 16 to 22 clubs, including five additional Central American clubs and one Canadian Premier League club, from 2019 onwards. The new format will also shift the Champions League qualification with six teams from the competition entering the main tournament.
February 5 – Concacaf has agreed an exclusive master licensee contract for consumer products with US firm OEG Sports. OEG will also act as the confederation’s licensing agent in a global deal.
March 27 – The US will host the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship, to be played October 4-17. Venue for the 8-team championship have still to be decided.

September 5 – CONCACAF wants three automatic places at the 2026 World Cup if the US, Mexico and Canada bid wins the hosting rights, said general secretary Philippe Moggio (pictured right). He also said that the confederation’s blue riband Gold Cup may be expanded to 16 teams in future editions as well as potentially being hosted outside the US.
March 9 – CONCACAF has signed Post Consumer Brands as an official sponsor of the 2017 Gold Cup to be played in the US this June. No figure has been announced for the one-tournament only deal.

January 15 – Lagardère Sports have won the international sales rights to CONCACAF events including this year’s Gold Cup, taking over from last international sales reps IMG who held the contract for a year. No details were given on the deal or the size of the guarantee that Lagardère made.
