Early strike pushes Muharraq Club to AFC Cup win over FC Nasaf

November 3 – From the start in April, it has been a challenging competition to get played with multiple re-arrangements, but Friday (November 5) will see the final of the AFC Cup, the Asian confederation’s second tier club competition, played in Bahrain.
September 23 – Kuwait SC in the AFC’s West zone and Uzbekistan’s FC Nasaf in the Central zone will fill the two remaining regional final slots in the AFC Cup to be played in October.
September 21 – The AFC Cup has returned to action with the first of the semi finals in West zone seeing Muharraq Club of Bahrain knocking out reigning champions Al Ahed FC of Lebanon.
